Removing Contacts from Clients

This article will give you the steps to remove contacts from your clients in ImagineShare.

 

How do I remove contacts from clients?

Sign-in

Log into the ImagineTime Portal using https://yourfirmname.imaginetime.com. Enter the email address and password associated with your “Firm” (Figure 1). Select the “Sign in” button.

Figure 2 below is the login landing page for the “ACME Corporation”. This example is showing a single client and two firms. Your login landing page may only show your clients and a single firm. Select your “Firm Name”.

Figure 3 below shows the “All workspaces” landing page. Here you would see all of your clients. To update a clients’ information, select the “Client Settings” link from the sidebar menu on the left side of your screen.

Figure 4 below shows the “All Firm Clients” screen. Select the blue “Client Name” you wish to update.

Figure 5 screenshot shows the blue “Contacts” link selected for the client “John A. Teague” displaying all contacts for this client. To remove a single “Contact” from this client select the three black vertical dots to the left of the contact name. This will display a small dialog box with two action selections (figure 6).

Figure 6 is a screenshot showing a small dialog that opens after selecting the three vertical dots to the left of the contact “Tweedy Bird”. This dialog offers two selections for this contact, “Remove from Client”, and “Archive Contact”. Selecting “Remove from Client” will display a new dialog (figure 7) confirming the “Remove from Client” action.

Figure 7 shows the “Remove from Client” confirmation dialog. Selecting “Delete” will remove the contact. The contact cannot be restored but can be manually recreated by selecting the “Add contacts” link.

On the “All Firm Contacts” screen (figure 8) select the check box to the left of multiple contact names you wish to archive.

On the right side of the “All Firm Clients:: Contacts” screen (figure 8) you will see the blue “Remove from Client-3” link. The “3” represents the number of contacts you have selected to remove. Selecting this link will display the “Delete this contacts” confirmation dialog (figure 9).

Figure 9 is a screenshot of the “Delete this contacts” dialog. Selecting “Delete” will permanently remove this contact. If this contact removed in error, you may manually recreate this contact by selecting the blue “Add contacts” button on the upper right-side of the “All client:: Contacts” screen.
