Mango allows you to add your client contacts to Brevo (formerly SendInBlue) or MailChimp, which then allow you to include them in campaigns. These campaigns make it easy to send stylized communications to specific groups, request feedback, make announcements, and otherwise stay in communication with your clients.
Accessing Email Automation
You can access Email Automation from the menu.
- Click on your name.
- Click Email Automation.
Configuring Email Automation
You can configure automated email with either Brevo (formerly SendInBlue) or MailChimp on the Setup tab of Email Automation.
Configuring Email Automation
- Set the Activate Automation check box.
- In the Email Automation field, select SendInBlue or MailChimp.
- In the API Key field, enter the key from the selected provider.
- Click ✓ Save.
Using Email Automation
Lists of mailing lists are maintained on the Email Lists tab of Email Automation. The Email Lists tab is divided into three sections: a Navigator, a Client list, and an Email list.
The Email Navigator allows you to filter clients in order to generate a list. You can select by Client Name, Client Type, Client Group(s), Billing Group, Manager, or Billing Partner. After selecting one of more options, click the (Refresh) button to populate the client list with those clients who match the selected criteria.
In the Client List section, select the clients you want to be included in the Email List.
In the Email List section, any mailing lists created in the configured email application will be listed. Select the mailing list to populate.
Click ✓ Add to List. Contacts for the selected clients will be added to your email application, where they can be included in email campaigns.

- You can create a new API Key for use in Mango using the following steps:
- Log into Brevo.
- Click your account name in the top right corner of the window.
- Select SMTP & API.
- Select the API Keys
- Click Generate a new API key.
- Specify a name (e.g., “Mango”) and click Generate.
- Copy the contents of the API Key. (Note: Once you close this window, you cannot access the API Key again. If necessary, generate a new API key and update the key used in Mango.)
- How can I access an API Key for MailChimp?
- You can create a new API Key for use in Mango using the following steps:
- Log into MailChimp.
- Click your account name in the top right corner of the window.
- Select Profile.
- Click the Extras tab and select API keys.
- Click Create A Key.
- Specify a name (e.g., “Mango”) and click Generate Key.
- Copy the contents of the API Key. (Note: Once you close this window, you cannot access the API Key again. If necessary, generate a new API key and update the key used in Mango.)
