Mango is designed to handle all of your accounting, billing, and practice management needs; however, we include integration with several third parties, as well as the ability to import and export data directly, to simplify the process of adding user data.
Overview of Integration
Integration is available in several areas of Mango.
QuickBooks Integration
Mango allows you to synchronize clients and accounts receivable with QuickBooks, making it easy for accountants who need to use both systems.
Once both systems are configured, deposits made in Mango will automatically be added to QuickBooks. This helps prevent the need to duplicate entry, and keeps both systems in balance.
If you are interested in integrating Mango with QuickBooks, please contact Customer Support for assistance configuring and integrating the feature. Additional information about integration with QuickBooks can be found in the QuickBooks Integration article.
Calendar Integration
Your schedule in Mango can be synchronized with a Microsoft Outlook calendar via a Microsoft 365 account. You can then use Outlook online to send reminders and meeting requests. Integration can be enabled in your user profile. (Note: Outlook Calendar integration requires a Microsoft 365 account. Integration is not supported for stand-alone Outlook applications.)
You can also synchronize your schedule with a Google Workspace calendar, allowing you to easily keep track of appointments everywhere. You can enable integration in your user profile. (Note: Google Calendar integration requires a domain-level Google Workspace account. Integration is not supported for personal Google accounts.)
Information about integration with Outlook and Google calendars can be found in the Calendar Integration article.
Label Printer Integration
Whether you are sending invoices, financial statements, or holiday cards to your clients, Mango makes it easy to create mailing labels using a connected DYMO printer.
Information about printing mailing labels can be found in the Label Printing article.
Authentication Integration
To help secure your Mango data, you can configure users to log in using a Microsoft Account, or configure them to require the use of an app to perform Two Factor Authentication (2FA). These options make it harder for hackers to access accounts, as they need more than just a username and password. The options to allow both of these authentication types, as well as make them required, are available in General Settings. Once enabled, users can link their Microsoft Account or configure an authenticator app in their user profile.
Information about using a Microsoft Account or Two Factor Authentication can be found in the Other Settings and Signing In & Two-Factor Authentication articles.
Tax Software Import
When you do your client’s tax prep in another application, you still want to generate an invoice for it. Mango makes that easy by allowing you to import those forms from ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake, UltraTax, or ATX, and automatically create clients and invoices.
Information about importing data from tax software can be found in the Import Tax article.
Email Automation
If you use Brevo (formerly SendInBlue) or MailChimp to create and manage your email campaigns, you can integrate these with Mango to add your client’s contact information to these mailing lists.
Information about enabling integration and pushing contact information can be found in the Email Automation article.
Data Import/Export
Mango allows you to import data from other sources, and export data from Mango, as necessary. These are typically used during onboarding, or to back up data.
Information about importing data into and exporting data from Mango can be found in the Data Import/Export article.
