Mango can optionally send email notifications when payments are received, when items are added to another user’s calendar, and when budgets are exceeded.
Accessing Notification Settings
You can access the settings for Notifications from the main toolbar.
- Click
(Settings).
- Click
General Settings.
- Click the
Notifications
Configuring Notification Settings
The Notifications tab is divided into two sections: Email Notification Options, and Budget Email Notifications.
Click the ✓ Save button to save changes to any settings
Email Notification Options
The following settings are available in the Email Notification Options section:
- Send “Thank You” email for payments made in the Client Portal & Click to Pay to the Client – Set this option to automatically send an email to the client when they make a payment in the Client Portal or using the Click to Pay option in their invoice or statement email. The email will look similar to this:

Additional information on payments in the Client Portal and via Click to Pay links can be found in the Electronic Payments article. - Send Email to notify firm for payments made by Clients – Set this option to automatically send an email to the selected user when a client makes a payment in the Client Portal or using the Click to Pay option in their invoice or statement email. The email will look similar to this:
[image] - Send “Thank You” email for a payment made in Mango Billing to the Client – Set this option to automatically send an email to the client when a Cash Receipt entry is saved for them in Mango. The email will look similar to this:

Budget Email Notifications
The following settings are available in the Budget Email Notifications section:
- Select user(s) to be notified if Budget alert for Revenue is exceeded – Select users to receive an email notification that is automatically sent when the budget amount for revenue is exceeded. The email will look similar to this:
[image] - Select user(s) to be notified if Budget alert for Time is exceeded – Select users to receive an email notification that is automatically sent when the budget amount for time is exceeded. The email will look similar to this:
